I don't know how many times I have been asked, what is the objective standard for good gaming? What defines a good game?
I believe, after working a week at a difficult chapter, that I have the standard. Here it is, short and sweet:
A good game occurs when everybody, not only the DM, but the players too, accepts the shared responsibility for making the game a rich and rewarding experience for every person at the table. When this happens to the highest degree, the game is as good as it can be.
